We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Production Manager specializing in Transmission Rebuild to lead our manufacturing operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing the end-to-end production process, ensuring high-quality output, optimizing workflow efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. As a key leader within our organization, you will manage a dedicated team, coordinate with supply chain partners, and implement lean manufacturing principles to meet production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards. Your expertise will help us deliver reliable transmission rebuild solutions that exceed customer expectations and foster operational excellence.

• Lead and manage the entire transmission rebuild production process, from assembly to final inspection, ensuring adherence to quality standards and delivery schedules.
• Develop and execute production systems to optimize resource utilization and minimize waste.
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques and process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce cycle times, and eliminate inefficiencies across the plant.
• Monitor key performance indicators related to manufacturing, quality control, supply chain management, and operations management to identify areas for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely procurement of parts and materials, leveraging supply chain analytics for forecasting and inventory management.
• Oversee plant safety protocols, enforce compliance with safety regulations, and promote a culture of safety awareness among staff.
• Manage personnel by providing leadership, training, and development opportunities to foster a motivated and skilled workforce focused on assembly excellence.

Experience

• Proven experience in production management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive or mechanical assembly sectors.
• Strong knowledge of  manufacturing software tools used for production planning and supply chain analytics.
• Demonstrated expertise in lean manufacturing principles, process improvement methodologies (such as Six Sigma), and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with plant management practices including safety protocols, quality control procedures, and operations management strategies.
• Mechanical knowledge related to transmissions or similar mechanical systems is highly desirable.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality assurance and process optimization.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams, coordinate across departments, and implement strategic initiatives effectively.
