New Business Account Executive

Strategic Business Development Manager

We are looking for an experienced Strategic Business Development Manager to join the Strategic Key Account team, working to onboard 150 of the highest value, strategic global accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strong client relationships, whilst focusing on reaching a trusted partner status to best understand and service the organization's global information requirements.

Key Responsibilities for this Role:

  • Utilize our database of over 700K subscribers to build champions within target organization's who can refer you to the General Counsel/CLO and other key decision makers in the legal team.
  • Recommend and work with Marketing to implement a strategy of account based marketing to increase brand awareness with your target clients.
  • Negotiate and manage complex multi-stakeholder sales with global clients and manage their often complex procurement processes.
  • Work closely with our Marketing and Content teams to provide valuable market as well as specific client feedback to help shape the future of the product.

Occasional travel to client sites/events/conferences within territory Provide prospects with detailed proposals, product demonstrations, and consultations, in person or online. Accurately report internal administration: CRM activity log, sales pipeline forecasting, monthly reports to management and proposal preparation Build a strong working knowledge of Legal intelligence space and company product positioning Work closely with Client Services and Account Management to ensure a good onboarding experience for new clients.

Qualifications:

Requirements for this Role: At least 4 years of B2B New Business sales experience using a defined sales methodology. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication Proven track record in hitting targets Experience in account based marketing and managing highly targeted campaigns Experience in managing multi-stakeholder sales and negotiating contract/procurement processes. Organized, detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, prioritize and respond quickly Highly proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
