Job Description

As a Security Officer Licensed Unarmed Patrol in San Francisco CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors tenants and store personnel by following site-specific procedures access guidelines and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location common areas entrances exits and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor visitor and employee activity assist with access and directional questions and document security-related incidents observations and/or policy concerns according to site procedures.
• Support loss prevention awareness by observing for suspicious behavior helping with crowd and line management during busy periods and communicating professionally with store personnel and/or local authorities when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
