The Brittain Electric team is seeking a best‑in‑class journeyman electrician willing to roll up their sleeves and exude a passion for the field! #Brittain #Industria What you will do … Troubleshooting and repairing various types of equipment/components such as PLC and DCS systems, AC and DC VFDs, motor controls, lighting and distribution systems Conduct sequential tests to determine malfunctions, analyze operations of electrical equipment, or systems Utilize electrical test equipment such as infrared, ultrasonic and data logging devices, as well as voltmeter, ammeter and ohmmeter Install and bend various types of conduits (EMT, Rigid, Aluminum) Set up and pull wire/cable & terminate power, control, and instrumentation wire and cable Operate, maintain, and work near various power equipment, including, but not limited to, forklifts, man‑lifts, excavators, drills, saws, hydraulic tools and automatic machinery Display exceptional customer service with clients and team members Work from various heights via platforms, scaffolds, ladders, or man‑lifts Bend and stretch, lift, and move heavy objects many times across a shift Must be safety conscious What you will need to succeed … 10+ years of experience installing and maintaining electrical systems Must have knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards Experience working directly with clients, exhibiting a high level of customer service and professionalism Strong verbal and written communication skills Must be organized, able to multi‑task, work both independently, and be a team player Ability to pass a federal credentialling background check for work completed at government facilities Physical demands … Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions Must be able to lift to 60 pounds independently; lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels Must be able to carry and transport up to 60 pounds up to 20 feet Requires standing for extended periods with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, wet and may have fumes or odors What you’ll love about us … On‑the‑job training with fully accredited training programs Eligibility to medical, dental, and vision benefits and 401(k) with company match Access to opportunities to expand your skill set and share your knowledge with others across the organization Company culture of promotions from within, with a start‑up atmosphere allowing for varied and rapid career growth & development The base pay range for this position is $34.00 to $38.00 per hour. Please note that the compensation range reflects the base pay only and does not include benefits or bonuses this role may be eligible to receive. Within the range, individual pay is determined by bona fide factors such as geographic work location, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
