Description - Your Role

• Conduct essential routine and advanced laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-while adhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and perform preventive maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, provide training to new staff or interns, and help maintain lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and comply with all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of employment.
