Support NetSuite implementation or optimization efforts, data structuring, data validation, and documentation of new processes Prepare financial statements and management reports for direct review by the CFO Maintain and update a company budget and cash flow model and analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast, providing explanations directly to the CFO. Assist with building and maintaining best-practice business processes and internal controls Assist 3rd party HR administrators with payroll and employee benefit administration matters. Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and adjusting entries Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities in accordance with established deadlines Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash, accrued liabilities, investment related accounts and intercompany accounts Property Accountant - Record and reconcile oil and gas revenue, including production volumes, price settlements, severance and ad valorem taxes, and revenue accruals for both mineral and royalty interests and non-operated working interests Review and process joint interest billings (JIBs) from operators on non-operated properties, including verification of working interest percentages, AFEs, cash calls, and lease operating expense coding Analyze operator check details, division orders, and revenue statements to confirm ownership decimals and identify missing, underpaid, or suspended revenue Prepare financial statements and management reports Identify opportunities to enhance business processes and internal controls Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepayments, and adjusting entries Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities in accordance with established deadlines Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash, accrued liabilities, investment related accounts and intercompany accounts Support special projects, including system implementations, financial modeling support, or process automation initiatives This is a high-quality organization that has not executed layoffs in the past.
