Full-time means working Monday to Friday, from either 8:00 am to 4:30 pm or 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Part-time jobs are either mornings (8:00 am to 1:00 pm) or afternoons (12:00 pm to 5:00 pm), Monday to Friday. You won't have to work on weekends. Keep reading to learn more about this position!WHAT YOUR DAY IS LIKE AS A MID-LEVEL CHILDCARE TEACHEREvery day as a full- or part-time Mid-Level Childcare Teacher, you'll get the classroom ready and make sure it's safe, following all New Hampshire childcare regulations. You'll guide the kids with activities that help them learn and play, with the Lead Teacher's direction. You'll talk to the parents about how their child is doing. You'll also work with the other teachers and help keep things clean and organized, all while making sure the kids are happy and safe.WHO ARE WE?The Nest Family Center takes pride in being New Hampshire's first fully licensed hourly childcare center! If you love working with little ones and collaborating with dedicated team members, we invite you to join us!WHAT'S NEEDED FROM MID-LEVEL CHILDCARE TEACHER?At least 18 years oldHave a high school diploma or equivalentAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and play with kidsAbility to follow NH child care rules (CPR/First Aid, training, etc.)And at least one of these:Worked as an associate teacher before Nov 6, 2017Took 9 college credits in child-related classes (one must be about child development)Certified as a Para II educatorHave 1,000 hours of child care experience and took a 2-year high school teacher course OR took a college class in child development OR did 30 hours of approved training OR have life experience working with kids (like teaching, camp counselor, etc.)Want to use your excellent teaching skills and join our team?
