What You’ll Do Partner with the Managing Chef to design seasonal menus, recipes, and banquet offerings. Ensure the quality, consistency, and presentation of all dishes—whether for a wedding banquet or a fine dining experience. Oversee kitchen operations, maintaining safety, cleanliness, and efficiency. Mentor and train staff, ensuring a skilled and motivated culinary team. Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs while minimizing waste. Step in during high-volume service to support and lead by example. Take full responsibility for kitchen operations when the Managing Chef is away. Coordinate the culinary execution of special events, from plated dinners to buffets. What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Sous Chef with a background in fine dining and banquet operations. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. Culinary creativity balanced with cost and quality control. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. High school diploma or GED required; formal culinary education preferred. Physical Requirements Stand and work on your feet for extended periods. Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 30 lbs.
