Overview Salary: $75,000–$95,000 Base Salary + Full Benefits We are hiring a Buyer to support a leading aerospace & defense organization in Mesa, AZ. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with purchasing, logistics, or supply chain experience who thrives in a fast-paced aviation environment. Responsibilities Manage procurement activities for aircraft parts, materials, consumables, and services Review material requests, issue RFQs, evaluate pricing/availability, and generate purchase orders Coordinate with vendors and logistics teams to ensure on-time deliveries Track supplier performance, delivery schedules, and inventory levels Communicate procurement updates, delays, discrepancies, and shipping issues to stakeholders Support strategic sourcing initiatives focused on cost savings and operational efficiency Monitor inventory trends and adjust stock levels based on operational requirements Ensure compliance with quality standards, procurement procedures, and documentation requirements Support offsite operations and deployments as a Supply Representative when needed Qualifications 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, logistics, or supply chain experience Aerospace, aviation, defense, or manufacturing industry experience preferred Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and procurement systems Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and security clearance if required Benefits Full benefits package Career growth opportunity within the aerospace & defense industry Exposure to international procurement operations Stable full-time opportunity #J-18808-Ljbffr Nickerson Talent Solutions
