Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant license required to start the assignment. BLS Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Experience working in a skilled nursing facility preferred. Candidates with experience in post-acute care, long-term care, or rehabilitation settings are preferred. Demonstrated competency with common SNF equipment and procedures, such as gait training, transfers, therapeutic exercise, and patient documentation in electronic medical records.
