Located in Reno, NV
Salary: 20 DOE A Maintenance Technician at an apartment complex is responsible for keeping the property safe, functional, and well-maintained. Here's a clear list of typical duties: Pay 20/hr.Part time shift Monday, Thursday and Friday 8 AM - 1:30 PM. Core Responsibilities:
- General Repairs
Fix plumbing issues (leaks, clogged drains), electrical problems (light fixtures, outlets), and appliances (stoves, refrigerators). - HVAC Maintenance
Perform routine checks and minor repairs on heating and air conditioning systems. - Preventive Maintenance
Inspect and maintain equipment and systems regularly to prevent breakdowns (e.g., testing smoke detectors, changing air filters). - Painting & Drywall
Patch holes, repaint walls, and keep interiors looking clean and fresh. - Carpentry & Fixtures
Repair doors, cabinets, windows, and other woodwork or fixtures. - Plumbing & Electrical
Replace faucets, fix toilets, install light switches, and troubleshoot minor electrical issues. - Groundskeeping
Help maintain outdoor areas-trash pickup, snow removal, salting walkways, occasional landscaping support. - Unit Turnovers
Prepare units for new tenants (cleaning, painting, repairs, replacing locks, etc.). - Emergency Response
Be available for on-call shifts to respond to urgent maintenance needs outside of business hours. - Safety & Compliance
Ensure work complies with building codes and safety standards.
