Providers credentialed and privileged at one location may work at all three facilities under shared privileges. Shared Privileges Providers granted privileges at any of the following locations may work at all three facilities CHRISTUS Childrens Emergency Center Stone Oak CHRISTUS Childrens Emergency Center Westover Hills CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Emergency Center Alon Coverage Need Start Date January 2027 Ongoing assignment Approximately 4 to 5 physicians needed Minimum of 4 shifts per month required Phone screening with a Medical Director required before presentation Facility Details CHRISTUS Childrens Emergency Center Stone Oak Annual Volume Approximately 8100 Average Daily Volume Approximately 22 patients Physician Coverage 24 hours daily Shift Times 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am EMR Epic CHRISTUS Childrens Emergency Center Westover Hills Annual Volume Approximately 29500 Average Daily Volume Approximately 80 patients Physician Coverage 24 hours daily NPPA Coverage 34 hours Monday through Wednesday and 24 hours Thursday through Sunday Shift Times 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am EMR Epic CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Emergency Center Alon Annual Volume Approximately 8800 Average Daily Volume Approximately 24 patients Physician Coverage 24 hours daily Shift Times 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am EMR Epic Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine Pediatrics or Pediatric Emergency Medicine Active Texas medical license ATLS required PALS required Case logs from the previous 2 years required Emergency Medicine and Pediatric physicians must document treatment of at least 300 pediatric patients within the previous 12 months Alternative board certifications not accepted Support and Resources Epic EMR Abridge AI scribe technology available Hospital orientation required Epic training required with test out option for experienced Epic users Temporary privileges available for clean files Expected credentialing timeframe 60 days or longer Patient Transfer Support High acuity pediatric patients may be transferred to Childrens Hospital of San Antonio when appropriate Travel Paid travel available Immunization Requirements Diphtheria Pertussis Tetanus Mumps Hepatitis B Rubella Varicella Measles PPD completed within the previous 12 months Seasonal influenza vaccination when applicable Medical Director screening required prior to assignment approval
