In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of instrumentation and control systems to support critical production equipment and regulatory compliance. **Your Responsibilities:** * Perform routine calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of instruments and control systems (e.g., bioreactors, sterilizers, filling equipment) to ensure operational accuracy and minimize downtime.* Coordinate calibration schedules with internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring all work complies with industry standards and Elanco's corporate calibration programs.* Maintain meticulous calibration records and documentation in strict accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Quality Assurance guidelines.* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements, support new machinery installations, and serve as a key administrator for the Building Management System (BMS).* Adhere to all occupational safety and health programs, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), confined space, and fall protection, while operating equipment such as forklifts and personnel lifts. **What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):** * **Education:** High School Diploma or GED.* **Experience:** A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in calibration or instrumentation within a technical or manufacturing environment.* **Top 2 skills:** Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to prioritize responsibilities and multi-task in a fast-paced team environment. **What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):** * Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or a highly regulated industry with a focus on GMP manufacturing maintenance and documentation.* Proficiency in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) troubleshooting, programming, and wiring.* Previous industrial plant safety training and experience utilizing a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).* Technical expertise in supporting specialized equipment such as tanks, mixers, pumps, and solids processing machinery.* Autonomous self-starter with a proven track record of working effectively within a collaborative team.
