Pay Rate: $23.00 an hour

Shipping Clerk Job Description:

• Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and shipping labels.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Verify shipping information for accuracy and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Schedule carrier pickups and communicate with drivers regarding shipment status.
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records using warehouse management systems.
• Process orders, enter data, and update shipment information within the company's computer systems.
• Communicate with warehouse personnel, supervisors, and transportation partners to ensure efficient operations.
• Assist with inventory counts and general warehouse administrative duties.
• Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.

Shipping Clerk Job Requirements:

• Previous shipping, receiving, logistics, or warehouse clerical experience preferred.
• Strong computer and data entry skills; experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Reliable transportation to the Markham location for training, with the ability to transition to the Montgomery facility in August.
