Position Overview

We invite you to become a part of our team as a full-time, night shift Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse located in Roswell, NM.

• Lovelace Regional Hospital offers 24/7 emergency services, intensive care, rehabilitation for both inpatients and outpatients, as well as surgical and birthing services for Roswell and its neighboring areas.

• Accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, which includes overseeing patient care and managing staff assigned to the RN.
• May take on the responsibilities of Charge Nurse, ensuring accountability for professional nursing practices.
• Complies with policies, procedures, and regulations to guarantee patient safety and adherence to standards.

Essential Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma.
• Current NM Nursing license or NM compact license (to be obtained within 90 days of hire).
• BLS certification must be secured within 14 days of hire or transfer into the position, prior to delivering direct patient care.
• The hiring department may also require ACLS and/or PALS certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Two (2) years of experience in the relevant specialty.
• Two (2) years of general nursing experience.
