IT Support Specialist - Network Support Focus

IT Support Specialist (Network Support) We are seeking a hands‑on IT Support Specialist with a focus on network support to provide onsite technical assistance for hospital staff and end users. Primary focus is network‑related support, but the role also includes general L1/L2 desktop, field support, printer, password, device, and connectivity tickets as needed. The ideal candidate is customer‑focused, flexible, and comfortable working directly with users in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities Provide onsite IT support for hospital staff and end users. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including LAN/WAN, switches, wireless, cabling, ports, and device connectivity. Support desktop, hardware, software, printer, password, and access‑related tickets. Assist with setup, configuration, and support of workstations, peripherals, and network‑connected devices. Escalate complex network or infrastructure issues to senior L3 engineering resources when needed. Document tickets, troubleshooting steps, and resolution details accurately. Collaborate with systems, server, Microsoft 365, desktop, and field support team members. Support hospital operations in a professional, calm, and customer‑focused manner. Participate in weekend or on‑call rotation as needed. Adapt to a support model that may expand toward a 24/7 healthcare operations environment. Required Qualifications Experience providing onsite IT support in a business, healthcare, enterprise, or similarly fast‑paced environment. Strong general L1/L2 support background. Experience troubleshooting network connectivity, including cabling, wireless, switches, and basic network issues. Comfortable supporting desktop and field support tickets when network‑specific work is not active. Experience supporting Windows desktops/laptops, printers, peripherals, and standard end‑user support. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work onsite and provide face‑to‑face user support. Reliable, flexible, and willing to assist wherever needed.
