Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients based on evidence-based practices and individualized needs.

• Provide individual, couple, and family psychotherapy sessions through telehealth platforms and in-person at our outpatient office.
\n
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to effectively address client concerns.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and treatment progress using Electronic Health Record (EHR) software.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers and medical professionals, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed, providing clients with the opportunity to learn from and support one another.

• Participate in regular clinical supervision, training, and continuing education to enhance professional development and clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice focuses on serving a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. Each therapist is encouraged to develop their area of specialization, focusing on areas such as trauma, grief and loss, LGBTQ+ issues, and perinatal mental health, to better serve our clients.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active, unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Illinois.

• Fluency in Spanish and English, demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health setting, working with a diverse range of clients.
\n
• Commitment to understanding and respecting cultural and individual needs of clients.
\n
• Proven ability to build rapport with clients from various ethnic backgrounds and adapt therapy approaches accordingly.

• Experience with EHR systems, Microsoft Office, and telehealth technologies.
\n
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance, with ability to provide in-person sessions when necessary.

• Willingness to work evenings and weekends to accommodate client schedules.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in areas such as trauma care, attachment issues, grief counseling, or family dynamics.

• Training in specific therapeutic modalities such as EMDR or TF-CBT.

• Prior experience with in-network insurance panels preferred.
