Maintenance Technician 1st ShiftThis is a 1st shift position for a Maintenance Technician responsible for ensuring the maintenance and operational support of product-specific work cells. The role focuses on minimizing downtime and optimizing productivity within the power transmission sector, especially in the mixing and mill area.ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and support of product-specific work cells to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.Respond promptly to any downtime situations to restore machine functionality.Conduct preventative maintenance on all work cells and accurately document maintenance performed.Evaluate and identify potential future maintenance needs and issues.Perform process verification procedures and follow process deviation procedures when changing parameters.Conduct repairs including fabricating, replacing bearings, and working on hydraulic pumps, cooling pumps, conveyors, belts, and drives.Perform minor facility maintenance repairs and collaborate with team members on maintenance issues.Essential Skills5 years of experience in maintenance and preventative maintenance.3 years of experience with hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.3 years of experience in reading blueprints.Experience in facilities maintenance.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with heavy mixing equipment.Background in automation.Experience in the automotive industry.Why Work Here?There are abundant career growth opportunities within the maintenance department.
