The Logistics Associate plays a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations by accurately picking and packing orders, managing inventory, labeling products, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. This position is ideal for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting that supports solar and general labor activities.

Responsibilities

• Pick products accurately according to order requirements to ensure correct items and quantities are prepared for shipment.

• Pack customer orders securely and efficiently to protect products during transit and meet shipping deadlines.

• Apply labels, shipping documents, and product tags as required to ensure clear identification and traceability of inventory.

• Receive, inspect, and put away incoming inventory, verifying quantities and product condition against documentation.

• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory tracking, helping maintain accurate inventory records and reporting discrepancies promptly.

• Organize warehouse stock and keep storage areas clean, orderly, and free of hazards to support efficient operations.

• Load and unload materials using pallet jacks or other warehouse equipment as needed to support inbound and outbound shipments.

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of hand tools, power tools, and warehouse equipment.

• Assist with general warehouse duties and special projects as assigned, including solar panel assembly, installation support, and related tasks.

• Use basic computer systems and, when applicable, inventory management software to record movements and updates to stock.

• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and support continuous improvement in warehouse processes.

Essential Skills

• Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, packing, or inventory role is preferred.

• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds safely.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift in a warehouse environment.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when picking, packing, labeling, and recording inventory.

• Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and use inventory management systems.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team.

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to meeting operational deadlines.

• Comfort working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to established safety procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience using RF scanners or handheld inventory devices for picking and inventory control.

• Knowledge of warehouse shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and labeling requirements.

• Forklift certification or previous forklift operating experience is a plus.

• Experience with pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.

• Familiarity with Excel and other computer applications to support inventory tracking and reporting.

• Exposure to solar, construction, general labor, assembly, and installation work is beneficial.

• Comfort using hand tools and power tools in support of warehouse and solar panel-related tasks.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite at a small indoor warehouse located at the company’s headquarters in Fremont, CA. You will work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, spending most of the shift standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The setting is organized yet fast-paced, with regular use of pallet jacks, RF scanners, hand tools, power tools, and computer systems to support solar-related and general labor activities. Dress is practical and appropriate for a warehouse and light construction environment, with adherence to safety guidelines and use of any required protective equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
