Role Overview We are seeking a We are seeking a Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, primarily related to obstetrics, to assist physicians with patient diagnosis and treatment. The role involves explaining procedures to patients, adjusting equipment, evaluating images, and providing comprehensive reports to perinatologists. Key Responsibilities Obtain and communicate information related to ultrasound procedures Review previous studies and confirm patient preparation Perform obstetrical ultrasounds of varying complexity, including fetal echocardiography, Nuchal Translucency, CVS, and Amnio procedures Provide ultrasound guidance for invasive procedures and ensure image quality Educate patients, explaining procedures to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation Maintain equipment and report repairs, ensuring optimal performance Confer with specialists regarding findings and prepare detailed reports Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED required; AA degree preferred RDMS certification in OB/GYN required American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Two years of sonography experience preferred Additional Details This full-time role offers day shifts, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth, including advanced certifications.
