Designed for a sharp, early-career accountant or recent graduate, this role offers an exceptional platform to build foundational general ledger and close experience in a fast-paced, publicly traded environment. Reporting directly to the Assistant Controller, you will cross-train on multiple GL areas, assist with month-end close, and gain hands-on exposure across the accounting function in an environment designed for career growth.What You'll Actually Do:Assist the accounting team with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, preparing general ledger journal entries and supporting schedules.Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual GL account reconciliations (prepaids, intangibles, accruals) and daily/monthly bank reconciliations.Conduct month-end variance analysis and assist with intercompany transaction recording and reconciliations.Support external and internal audit requests while maintaining accurate documentation to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, internal policies, and SOX requirements.Collaborate across to resolve operational accounting issues and handle ad hoc finance projects.To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA candidate is a plus.Recent college graduate or up to 3 years of relevant accounting experience with a strong foundation in U.S. GAAP.Detail-oriented mindset with the confidence to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization.Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. xhyhwjd Where and How Much:Target Compensation: $60K to $70K, plus 5-10% discretionary bonus100% In-Office, North Denver4 weeks PTO, 401(k) with match, standard health/dental/vision coverage.
