Housing Case Manager for survivors of human trafficking

Job Description

This is temporary for about a month, position is available due to covering a medical leave. There is no specific end date and assignment can be extended. Located in LA at one location with some community based work. Hours are M - F 10AM - 6:30PM. Parking is offered on site and parking is reimbursed while doing outreach and community based home visits. Caseload is 10 - 15. Agency will provide cell phone for business calls.

This position requires thorough knowledge and understanding of a human rights, strengths-based approach in serving clients. The Housing Case Manager will provide home-based case management services for survivors of human trafficking in scattered site apartments throughout Los Angeles. The primary goal is to assist survivors of human trafficking in addressing barriers to maintaining permanent housing.

Qualifications:

BA degree, or extensive experience and demonstrated skills and aptitude considered in lieu of education.
Shelter or group home experience
Housing and case management experience- 1 year
