Accountant

We are working with an established medical device company to hire an Accountant into a hands-on, operational role. This is a broad position that gives you real exposure to the day-to-day running of the accounting function rather than a narrow slice of it. You would report to a Senior Accounting Manager and work closely with an AP/AR Specialist, so it is a small, collaborative team where your work has visible impact. What the role covers: Supporting month-end close and preparing complex journal entries with clean supporting documentation Account reconciliations, including corporate credit cards and related accounts Processing vendor payments and making sure expenses are classified accurately Monitoring cash activity and customer accounts Maintaining prepaid expense and fixed asset schedules, including depreciation Preparing and analyzing monthly sales and commission reports Investigating discrepancies and variances, and supporting internal and external audits Spotting process improvements that tighten controls and improve efficiency What we are looking for: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (required) At least three years of accounting experience, ideally a well-rounded background spanning general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations and invoicing (preferred) Solid knowledge of GAAP and accrual-based accounting Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills Someone organized, detail-focused and comfortable juggling several priorities at once This one suits an Accountant who wants to keep building their skill set, or someone ready to step up into a Senior Accountant level role!
