Clinical Laboratory Team Leader

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Laboratory Team Leader for its facility in Pensacola, Florida. The role involves supervising daily lab operations, training staff, performing technical procedures, and ensuring quality patient care in a high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist supervisor with daily department operations and workflow management
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management
- Train new hires and develop current laboratory staff
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures according to standard operating procedures
- Monitor instrumentation functionality and conduct preventive maintenance and quality control
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, or clinical laboratory science
- 5+ years experience as a clinical laboratory technologist
- Florida Medical Technologist (MT) license
- Proficiency with laboratory information systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
