Responsibilities for a Claims Specialist include but are not limited to:

• Follow written procedures and scripts to review claims and correspondence

• Use proprietary software tools to access documents, enter claim decisions, and create escalations when needed

• Perform data entry and verification with a high level of accuracy

• Communicate obstacles to leadership promptly to support workflow completion

• Meet departmental expectations for accuracy, productivity, and compliance

Candidates for Claims Specialist must meet the following requirements to be considered:

• GED or High School Diploma required

• Excellent attention to detail required

• Strong written English language skills required

• Demonstrated skill in analyzing data required

• Ability to apply procedures to non-specific situations required

• Experience reviewing medical records preferred

• Must be able to sit at a computer workstation for long periods of time

• Must be available to work remotely in the Pacific Time Zone

• BYOD setup required

• High-speed internet required; no hotspot allowed

• Minimum internet speed of 20 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload required

• Jitter must be consistently below 20

• Cat5e Ethernet cable connection required; WiFi is not permitted

• Computer must have Windows with Intel i5, AMD Ryzen 5, or better

• Minimum 8GB RAM and 238GB storage required

• Screenshots of TalkDesk speed test results and device specs required

• Pay: $19.00

• Shift: Monday through Friday, flexible schedule within the 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
