Salary Range: $119,000 - $168,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Oversee the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and continuous process optimization.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for engineering initiatives.
• Implement and maintain best practices for engineering design, documentation, and quality control.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing engineering roles, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management capacity.
• Proven experience in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technical staff.
• Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES), CAD/CAM software, and other relevant engineering tools.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.
• Experience managing projects with external vendors or partners.
