Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 1:4 patient ratio, floating required as needed, 14-week contract

Highlights:

• Specialized Oncology Pod within the Emergency Department – one of the few dedicated oncology emergency care settings in the country
• High-acuity environment caring for cancer patients with urgent and complex needs across all age groups (pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics)
• EPIC charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and radiology
• 15 rooms, 19 beds with telemetry monitoring and advanced emergency care procedures
• Up to 7 consecutive days of time off may be granted at facility discretion for 14-week contracts
• Orientation provided with 76 hours of onboarding support

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Oncology experience preferred but not required
• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Proficient in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Skills in blood product administration, central line care, ventilated patient care, emergency medications, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, isolation precautions, IV vasopressors, 12-lead EKG, phlebotomy, triage, and STEMI/Stroke protocols
• 2 professional references required (at least 1 from a manager, director, or supervisor)
• Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
