Job Summary:

Shippenville Nursing and Rehab, a leading provider of long-term care and rehabilitation services, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will play a vital role in providing exceptional therapy services to our residents, helping them to regain their independence and achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat residents with speech-language and cognitive disorders using evidence-based practices and a patient-centered approach

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team

• Provide high-quality speech-language therapy services, including evaluation, treatment, and documentation

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to promote a culture of care and respect

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records and reports

• Collaborate with other therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

• Current Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required

• Previous Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and/or Long-Term Care (LTC) experience strongly preferred

• Experience with Net Health and PointClickCare (PCC) preferred

• Excellent communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused
