Physical Therapist (PT) — PRN

Shippenville Nursing and Rehab

Shippenville Nursing and Rehab is looking for a PRN Physical Therapist (PT) to provide skilled, flexible rehabilitation care for residents.

Role Overview

The PT will evaluate residents, develop individualized plans of care, and provide treatment focused on mobility, strength, balance, safety, and functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Perform therapy evaluations and establish measurable treatment goals.

• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized plans of care.

• Provide interventions for mobility, gait, balance, strength, transfers, and pain management as appropriate.

• Supervise and collaborate with therapy support staff as applicable.

• Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely documentation.

• Work closely with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

• Current PT license or eligibility to practice in the applicable state.

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.

• Skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation experience preferred.

• Strong clinical judgment, flexibility, and communication skills.
