Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (L&D) travel assignment in Aspen, CO, starting 10/19/2026 for 8 weeks. Earn $2,622–$2,879 per week with a 3x12-hour Night shift in a hospital setting. This assignment carries no guaranteed hours. Housing is the traveler’s responsibility; consider nearby towns Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs for housing options.

Responsibilities
- Monitor laboring patients and assess maternal–fetal status, including continuous fetal heart monitoring
- Interpret fetal and maternal assessment data; respond to changes and escalations per protocol
- Administer prescribed medications and coordinate with obstetric and neonatal teams
- Assist with labor, delivery, birth planning, and immediate postpartum care
- Document in the electronic medical record (EPIC) and ensure accurate, timely charting
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support as appropriate
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, nurses, and support staff to maintain safe, quality care

Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Colorado
- Education: Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN/MSN preferred
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS; may be obtained on hire), Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider (NRP), Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate (FHM), The STABLE Program – STABLE Learner (STABLE)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of perinatal RN experience
- Additional: EPIC experience preferred; bilingual in Spanish preferred
- Ability to work in a high-acuity labor and delivery setting on a 3x12-hour night schedule
