What You'll Do:

• Provide quality nursing care to patients in the Med-Surg/Telemetry and transplant units
• Monitor patient conditions, including cardiac status, and respond accordingly
• Administer medications, including cardiac drips and wound care as directed
• Support patient assessments and assist with procedures such as IV placements and phlebotomy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including RT, OT, PT, and specialists
• Document patient care accurately in the Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Float to other units within scope of practice as needed

What You Need:

• Current RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience (first-time travelers need 2 years)
• Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to travel
• Strong skills in cardiac monitoring, IV skills, and wound care
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required

You will be providing comprehensive care for transplant patients, those with CHF, COPD, DKA, and other acute diagnoses.
