This position is contingent receptionist in our West Bloomfield Assisted Living location.We are looking for a friendly receptionist to provide front desk support on:Sundays during the day shift andFridays during the midnight shift.This position is also called upon to cover absences. We have additional day, afternoon, and midnight shifts that need periodic coverage.Essential Responsibilities:Answering the phonesClerical duties; filing, typing correspondence, creating forms, etc.Ensuring that all individuals entering building are authorized and sign in/out.Notify maintenance staff when their services are necessary.Activate emergency staff calling tree for larger emergency situations.Notify police of unauthorized or suspicious individuals in and around the property.Other duties as assigned.Competencies:Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds professionally to questions.Writes clearly and informativelyPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
