Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their mental health status through videos, offering insights into their emotional well-being.

• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans that address clients' unique needs, ensuring alignment with therapeutic goals.

• Maintain consistent follow-up appointments with clients, equipping them with effective coping strategies and support to navigate their challenges.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe and supportive space for open discussion and skill development.

• Collaborate with a network of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Document all clinical interactions thoroughly using our electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clientele served by Healing Trails includes individuals dealing with a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Our counselors engage with diverse populations, requiring cultural competence and sensitivity. You'll be instrumental in guiding clients towards resilience and a healthier mental state.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

• At least four years of related experience in a clinical setting, including work with various mental health disorders.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities and cultural competence in therapeutic applications.

• Proficient in delivering individual and group therapy using inclusive and culturally responsive frameworks.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills with a calm, reassuring demeanor in challenging situations.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, crucial for building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and other necessary technology for telehealth facilitation.

• A commitment to upholding professional ethics, confidentiality, and establishing clear therapeutic boundaries.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in substance abuse treatment and knowledge of various therapeutic practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n
