Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Three contract Speech-Language Pathologist opportunities are available for the 2026-2027 school year, supporting students across various school settings. These positions offer full-time hours (37.5 per week), beginning in mid-August 2026 and concluding at the end of May 2027, with the likelihood of a few additional days before and after the school year for planning.

Each role provides close collaboration with other skilled SLPs and offers robust departmental support, including personal mentoring, thorough system training, and a wealth of resources and materials to ensure professional growth and student success.

Current Openings:

• Washington Center (self-contained, ages 3-21): Serve medically fragile, profoundly impaired students. Significant AAC device knowledge and a strong sense of dedication to students and families are essential.
• Chandler Creek Elementary + Crestview Elementary (Greer, SC): Full-time role split between two elementary campuses with each site featuring a supportive SLP colleague.
• Welcome Elementary + virtual academy/TBD: Manage a caseload split between Welcome Elementary, students attending Greenville’s virtual academy, and another site to be announced.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active SC SLP License and SC Educator Certification required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; SLP-CFs may be considered
• Prior experience in school settings highly valued
• Proficiency with AAC devices particularly important for Washington Center role

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech, language, and communication services according to student IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and colleagues
• Participate in planning, team meetings, and professional development
• Maintain thorough documentation and reporting
