Responsibilities Travel to individuals and businesses to sell equipment in defined sales area Look over customers' existing equipment and recommend upgrades or replacements Provide competitive information such as price quotes, and bundling with attachments in order to establish negotiated pricing. Perform product demonstrations and support Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or talk to customers in store or on phone Take orders and deliver products and estimate date of delivery to customer Arrange for repairs as needed Manage and develop new customers, while maintaining existing sales within assigned customers and a given sales inventory Develop a call list and maintain information monthly Review sales reports Track and turn in gas and product receipts as expense report Must learn POS systems Maintain product knowledge on the features and benefits of equipment for sale and rental at the dealership. Knowledge of products related to the New Holland and Bobcat brands required. Analyze sales opportunities, solve customer problems, and participate in sales promotions. Monitor competitive activity and products Maintain customer data Understand the various financing options that are involved in the sale of new and used equipment.
