Upstream C&Q Lead – US, North Carolina – Long Term Contract Are you ready to make a real impact? Our client, a globally recognized leader in biotechnology, is hiring for the role of Upstream C&Q Lead. Known for their innovation and dedication to improving lives, they focus on tackling some of the most urgent medical challenges through cutting‑edge science. What You’ll Do Serve as the commissioning and qualification (C&Q) lead for Upstream systems. Develop and optimize Upstream systems to meet operational and quality standards. Create Commissioning Test Plans that translate design intent into testable steps. Coordinate with the Automation Team to incorporate all automation functional testing. Collaborate with SMEs to ensure system requirements are accurately reflected in test plans. Develop Installation, Operational, and Qualification (IOQ) protocols. What You’ll Need Extensive experience advising on Upstream C&Q programs for large‑scale construction projects, with experience on projects ranging from $300M to $1B. Background in greenfield construction, ideally with drug substance biologics or similar industries (non‑Biologics / Pharma experience will not be considered). Strong knowledge of Upstream equipment C&Q documentation and process design. Experience with development, execution, and reporting for C&Q activities for Upstream equipment.
