The role is responsible for supplier payment workflow, providing accounting support throughout Zero Zone and working to promote continuous improvement throughout the payment process./ppEssential Responsibilities:/pulliDaily/Weekly: ulliAssist with A/P Vouchering/liliProcess and verify invoices for payment, ensuring proper coding and approvals./liliEnsure compliance with company policies and procedures./liliPrepare and execute weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers./liliMaintain A/P Files/liliSupplier Maintenance in IFS/li/ul/liliMonthly: ulliPrint and Review Purchased Receipts Not Invoiced Report/Complete offsets/liliReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner./li/ul/liliAnnually: ulliAssist department with gathering information for year-end audit/liliSetup new annual files/li/ul/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulpRequirements for Effective Performance:/pulliAssociates degree in related field; or equivalent combination of education and working experience./liliWorking knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook./li/ulpSkills/Abilities/Specifications:/pulliAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages./liliAbility to apply concepts of basic algebra./liliAbility to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos./liliAbility to effectively present information one-on-one to vendors, clients, and other employees of the organization./li/ulpBehavioral Environmental Requirements:/pulliMaintain a positive work attitude.
