Description

• Conduct thorough assessments across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using reputable evaluation methods and observational techniques.
• Create tailored treatment plans aligning with immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, and swallowing goals.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions targeting language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges.
• Engage collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, physicians, nurses, caregivers, and families to formulate holistic care approaches.
• Facilitate education for patients and families to aid their progress beyond clinical interactions.
• Contribute to occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, assuring a seamless treatment journey.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation in compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
