Employee Relations Consultant Overview The Employee Relations Consultant will provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters and investigations. Collaborate with the Employee Relations Head and Directors to address an influx of cases effectively. Ensure compliance with legal ethics and confidentiality standards while handling sensitive information. Support documentation processes and communication strategies with employees and leadership teams. Work in a hybrid schedule, combining remote and on-site work for optimal flexibility. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance employee relations practices. Leverage extensive experience in employee relations to provide strategic insights and solutions. Engage in a contract role with potential for extension based on performance and organizational needs. Employee Relations Consultant Key Responsibilities & Duties Conduct thorough investigations into employee relations cases and document findings accurately. Advise leadership on best practices for managing employee relations issues. Develop and implement strategies to address complex employee relations challenges. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements during investigations. Collaborate with HR teams to enhance communication and resolution processes. Provide training and guidance to managers on employee relations topics. Analyze trends in employee relations cases to identify areas for improvement. Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all employee relations activities. Employee Relations Consultant Job Requirements Bachelor of Science (BS) degree required, preferably in Human Resources or related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in employee relations; 10 years preferred. Proven expertise in conducting investigations and resolving complex employee relations issues. Strong knowledge of legal ethics and confidentiality standards. Ability to communicate effectively with employees and leadership teams. Experience working in hybrid work environments with remote and on-site responsibilities. Demonstrated ability to develop policies and procedures for employee relations.
