Employee Relations Specialist

Non-profit organization in NYC is seeking a temporary Employee Relations Specialist for a 6-month contract. Must have 2 years of Employee Relations experience with a focus on conducting HR investigations. Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote Pay rate: $35-40/hr Hours: 9am - 5pm Responsibilities: Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee relations concerns. Advise managers on performance management and disciplinary procedures. Develop and implement policies to ensure workplace compliance. Collaborate with HR teams to address employee grievances effectively. Prepare detailed reports and documentation of investigations and outcomes. Facilitate training sessions on employee relations and workplace policies. Monitor trends in employee relations to proactively address issues. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of HR experience with a focus on employee relations. Proven expertise in conducting HR investigations and resolving workplace issues. Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
