- Must be able to create schedules for all areas of the nursing department
- Must be able to work in collaboration with the entire nursing team
- Must be able to fill open positions on the schedule with current staff through creative methods
- Experience in a Nursing Home or Health field experience preferred.
- Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
- Effective people management skills.
- Good understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.
- Must be detail oriented and have excellent communication skills
- Recent experience as a Staffing Coordinator in a skilled nursing facility preferred
