Manager, Information Security

Join a dynamic security team focused on continually strengthening their security posture. As the Manager, Information Security, you'll lead a team of four while partnering closely with IT teams and leadership to manage and enhance network, system, identity, and cloud security. You'll own key areas across security governance, risk, compliance, and day-to-day security operationshelping drive standards, reduce risk, and ensure readiness in a fast-moving environment.

Required Skills:

• Proven supervisory/managerial experience, including leading technical security engineers
• Strong capabilities in security governance (policies, processes, procedures, standards)
• Risk management experience, including threat intelligence, assessment, analysis, and mitigation planning
• Hands-on compliance management, including ISO 27001/27701 and PCI-DSS, plus client assurance audits/questionnaires
• Working knowledge of core security technologies and operational functions, including:
• Firewalls, network segmentation
• Vulnerability management
• Privileged/remote access management
• EDR/NGAV, SIEM
• Email security and continuous monitoring
• Experience with detection and response (log aggregation/correlation/analysis, incident response, recovery)
• Ability to translate technical risk clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong prioritization skills with the ability to manage concurrent initiatives in a dynamic environment
• Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Collaborative leadership style with a track record of building team camaraderie and leveraging varied strengths

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in a professional services environment
• Experience managing vendors and managed security service providers (MSSPs) and budget/resource planning
• Exposure to design and architecture reviews across network, system, application, identity, collaboration, and cloud infrastructure

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 5+ years of security-related experience
• 10+ years working in an information technologyrelated field
• 3+ years managing a team of technical security engineers
• Strong IT operational background with related network, systems, and/or development experience

Other Requirements:

• Preferred (highly desired) certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, CIPP (matriculating candidates considered)
