This position offers an opportunity to contribute to our growth and innovation and work with some of the leading professionals in the field.The Project Accountant role offers an opportunity to contribute to our growth and innovation and work with some of the leading professionals in the field.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor project financials and generate accurate, timely reports on project status, budgets, and performance.Serve as a key point of contact between accounting and project managers, providing updates and addressing financial questions related to assigned projects.Ensure project data is consistently updated, accurate, and reflects the current status of domestic and international projects.Support month-end and project close-out processes as needed.Assist with invoicing, budget tracking, and cost reconciliation across multiple projects.Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and resolve discrepancies in project financial data.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).0-2 years of relevant accounting or finance experience; internships welcome.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with project managers and cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint strongly preferred.Comfort working with both domestic and international project accounting.PreferredExperience in a project-based or engineering consulting environmentExperience in multi-entity or international organizationsExperience in a high-growth or acquisition-driven environmentSkills & CompetenciesProblem-solving and critical-thinking skillsHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to meet deadlines and prioritize tasksCollaborative mindset with strong business acumenWorking ConditionsWe are ideally seeking candidates located in the Denver, CO or Fairfield, CT.In-office work environment with hybrid schedule available after one year of employmentStandard 40-hour work week with additional time as needed during close cycles and auditsSalary Range: $70k-$90k commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance401(K)Paid holidays and vacation/personal timeAnnual Salary ReviewsAnnual Bonus ConsiderationCompliance with all US mandatory employer contributionsAdvancement opportunities; we believe in investing in those who want to invest in usAs an equal opportunity employer, we're committed to fostering an inclusive and respectful workplace where everyone feels valued.
