Associate Attorney

Waldon Adelman Castilla McNamara & Prout is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Attorney with two (2) to four (4) years of civil litigation experience. The candidate should have at least one (1) year of experience handling premises liability matters. This is a full-time position located in Northwest Atlanta, directly across from The Battery and Truist Park. Associate Attorneys handle a dynamic, hands-on portfolio of premises liability defense and general civil litigation tasks. They draft pleadings and dispositive motions, interview witnesses and property owners, conduct site inspections, take and defend depositions, consult with medical and industry experts, research applicable law, mediate resolutions, and represent clients in court, including at trial and on appeal. The role requires direct interaction with clients, insurance carriers, legal and medical professionals, and courthouse personnel to provide effective, high-quality representation. Requirements for the ideal candidate: Practical experience or strong background in premises liability defense, personal injury, or tort litigation. Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks/deadlines efficiently. Meticulous approach to legal documents and case preparation with strong attention to detail. Skilled production of clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents. Confidence and composure in courtroom and deposition settings. Capacity to field travel for on-site investigations, inspections, depositions, hearings, and client meetings. Collaborative spirit and willingness to contribute to team success. Salary range for qualifying new associates: $112,000-$148,000, commensurate with legal experience Qualifications Georgia Bar member 1-4 years of litigation experience (premises liability or personal injury defense preferred).
