Our client, Coastal Container is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have machine operator and machine setup experience.
Job Title: Machine Operator Assistant (All 3 shifts available)
Location: Holland, MI
Pay Range: $18/hr

What’s the Job?
- Assist in machine set-ups, including adjusting equipment settings and mounting printing plates and dies.
- Monitor, control, and adjust machine settings and functions.
- Review the daily production schedule and make recommendations for optimizing production to meet cost, quality, and service goals.
- Inspect incoming corrugated paper to confirm job order specifications and ensure quality standards.
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
What’s Needed?
- Corrugated packaging experience is ideal.
- Proven experience as a machine operator and/or experience in production and manufacturing procedures.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with familiarity and comfort in handling complex machinery and measurement tools (e.g., tape measures).
- Ability to read and understand specifications, manuals, and measuring tools.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
