Highlights Pay: $74.85/hour Location: Long Island City, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Queens Department/Unit: Dialysis - MSQ Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift What You'll Do Assist in development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of care and professional practice. Assess and evaluate patient needs for care rendered and apply sound nursing judgment. Provide direct, continuous care for a specific caseload of patients. Coordinate patient care activities, including teaching, rounding, counseling, and discharge planning. Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members about the patient's plan of care. Participate in performance improvement and nursing quality activities. Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care. Conduct discharge planning from admission to discharge or transfer. Maintain clinical competence and professional growth. Support the mission, philosophy, standards, and objectives of the institution and department. Requirements Education Bachelor of Science in Nursing required; Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing considered for specialized areas. Experience Current matriculation in a BSN program with graduation date within one year of hire.
