Highlights Pay: $82.63/hour Location: New York, NY Facility: Mount Sinai Hospital Department/Unit: Nursing Pediatrics 04 - MSH Schedule: Per Diem, Day shift What You'll Do Deliver patient care using the nursing process based on theory, research, and evidence-based practice. Assess and evaluate patient care needs using critical thinking skills. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement care plans. Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care and health promotion. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing. Role model the tenets of Mount Sinai Relationship Centered Care. Initiate service recovery for patients and families with concerns. Practice safe and efficient patient-centered care, identifying barriers and opportunities for improvement. Document nursing practice accurately to support quality and performance improvement initiatives.
