Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist License required
• Recent experience working within a school-based setting, preferably K-6
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• Creative problem-solver with a commitment to promoting student independence and growth

Role Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
• Conduct assessments to determine students’ functional abilities and needs
• Work closely with teachers, support staff, and families to support student progress
• Document services, monitor outcomes, and maintain accurate records
• Educate staff and parents on instructional strategies and accommodations
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging classroom and therapy environment
• Collaborate with team members to support students' achievement of IEP goals
