Lead Data Analyst / Tableau Developer

Role Description

Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into BI and reporting solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, insights, and business opportunities.
Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and reporting.
Collaborate with business, data engineering, and leadership teams to define KPIs and metrics.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reporting solutions.
Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
Support data governance, report standardization, and self-service analytics initiatives.
Mentor junior analysts and promote BI best practices.

Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud
Advanced SQL
Data Analysis and Visualization
Dashboard Development and Performance Optimization
Data Modeling (Star/Snowflake Schema)
Requirements Gathering and Stakeholder Management
KPI and Executive Reporting

Requirements

Tableau Prep
Snowflake, Databricks, Azure or AWS Data Services
Power BI or other BI tools
Python for data analysis and automation
Data Warehousing and ETL concepts
Agile/Scrum methodologies
