Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

Support business decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and reporting of patterns, insights, and trends to leadership via dashboards and reports. Analyze business problems and issues using business intelligence tools that incorporate data from internal and external sources. Work under minimal supervision and use complete understanding of business needs and objectives to make recommendations that have impact on the achievement of operational goals. Advanced skill set and proficiency with procedures and analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

• Collect, aggregate, and analyze data from multiple sources, including structured and unstructured data sets, to drive insights into business performance
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns and prepare ongoing reports and data visualizations in order to support business decisions
• Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, dashboards, and BI solutions
• Produce actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement into current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems
• Use analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risks, and profits of new business initiatives
• Communicate findings and insight to stakeholders and provide business strategy recommendations for optimizing business performance
• Provide reporting solutions and respond to ad-hoc report requests within the business area
• Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements
• Build working relationships with team members and subject matter experts
• Lead small projects and initiatives

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or marketing strategy; marketing or adjacent business-unit experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to independently own complex reporting and analytics deliverables from planning through executive presentation
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills; able to identify the “so what” behind the data and connect findings to business strategy
• Ability to manage competing priorities, establish timelines, and drive deliverables forward with limited oversight
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and adapting to shifting priorities, business needs, and reporting requirements
• Ability to partner across teams, coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders, and build strong working relationships with strategists and business partners
• Strong executive communication and storytelling skills, including presenting complex analyses and large-scale reports to senior leaders
• Experience developing KPIs, goals, and measurement frameworks and translating results into actionable recommendations
